Premiere. The Star-Child

One dark night, in a vast frozen forest, a star fell from the sky.

And where it landed, a little boy was found – beautiful as a star, and just as cold and merciless. What happened to him next?

The story of the Star-Child will be told and sung by the inhabitants of the forest, who become his guides on life’s path. Along the way, we meet an Evil Sorcerer, a tender Turtle-dove, an ironic Toad, and a wise Mole. Visually, the audience enters a mystical medieval world inspired by the paintings of Bosch and Bruegel.

This is a fairy tale about kindness and repentance, justice and retribution – and, above all, about the coming of age of the soul.
