A great-grandfather hasn’t spoken to Zhenya and his mother for several years. They had a falling-out long ago – over Daniil Kharms. Now the old man decides to break his silence and asks the boy for help… to leave this life. Yes, adult life is not an anime series.

Does a person have the right to choose their own death? Or is the grandfather simply trying to show off? Should you help someone if you know it will lead to terrible consequences? And what happens when, within a family, the roles of adult and child are reversed?

The play is the winner of the Remark (New Drama Competition, 2018).
