We adults are certain we know what children need. What we should talk to them about – and what we shouldn’t. What will interest them and what won’t. After all, we are adults, and they are children.

We believe our problems are far more serious than children’s. Yet we were once small ourselves – and back then it did not seem so. Why, then, do we now consider ourselves wiser than children? In the end, it isn’t fair.

But what if children were given the chance to create a performance themselves? For themselves and about themselves. What if actors didn’t just perform for them, but with them? And every child had a voice.

That would be honest.

The production is based on stories by Victor Dragunsky, including Nothing Can Be Changed, The Old Sailor, Twenty Years Under the Bed, The Girl on the Ball, The Secret Becomes Known, and others.
