The Tempest

The sea has risen in revolt. It is Prospero who has summoned the storm and caused the shipwreck. Once the powerful Duke of Milan, he was betrayed by his brother and exiled to a remote island with his three-year-old daughter. Twelve years later, Prospero is given a chance for revenge. But is revenge truly what rules the world?

Written over 400 years ago, the play feels more relevant than ever. Treachery and deceit, intoxication with power, betrayal and repentance, love and forgiveness – these eternal themes continue to resonate with today’s audience.
